Bromyard Road Methodist Church

We are very family conscious at Bromyard Road. We're always looking for new ways to help children and young people meet God.
The Babies and Toddlers group meets on Thursday mornings 9:30 - 11:00am in term time, for play and friendship. Suggested donation of £2 per week per family. Parents, grandparents, and carers with babies and children under 5 are all welcome. The group helps children to socialise and allows adults a couple of hours to chat in a relaxed environment. The group is led by a dedicated team of volunteers and will have a gentle Christian feel. We have a wide range of toys available including puzzles to help with hand eye co- ordination, toys and dressing up for imaginative play; ride on and pull along toys and there is always a craft/colouring activity. Each week we have a story followed by the very popular hot buttered toast, with tea/coffee and squash also available.
On Sundays from 10.30-11.30am we have a group for ages 3 - 16 called S Club. All ages start together in the church for the first part of the service and then children and young people leave with some of our volunteer leaders and go to the hall nearby for their own activities. They create crafts, play games and learn about God and the Bible. S Club is a great way for children to meet others their age and have fun. All our volunteers for S Club are DBS checked, and parents/guardians are welcome to come along with the children if they wish to. For children under 3, parents will need to stay with them whether in the service or at S Club.
13th Worcester Brownies meet on a Tuesday evening in term time from 5.30-7.00pm at Ombersley Road Methodist Church Brownies introduces girls aged 7 to 10 to a world of new opportunities, challenges and fun. They get together with their friends at regular meetings where they learn new hobbies, get creative, explore their community and other cultures and have outdoor adventures. There are also opportunities to take part in day trips, and sometimes camps, holidays or sleepovers. We are part of *Girlguiding, the leading international organisation for girls and young women. “Through fun, friendship, challenge and adventure we empower girls to find their voice, inspiring them to discover the best in themselves and to make a positive difference in their community.” To register your interest in joining us, **click here.
