Please look below at the details of our services and events.

Our pattern of worship is usually this:

2nd Sunday 10.30-11.30am All-age Worship
3rd Sunday 10:30-11:30am Morning Worship and SClub (Sunday School). Worship also streamed on YouTube.
4th Sunday 9.00-9.30am Holy Communion with option to stay on for breakfast
10.30-11.30am Morning Worship and SClub (Sunday School)
5th Sunday 10.30-11.30am Café Worship in the hall for all ages, starting at 10.15am with refreshments

Prayer Team At the end of our Sunday services, members of our prayer team are available to pray with anyone who would like to, whether it be about an issue or concern, or anything else. This is a welcoming and kind environment for people to raise up issues to God that are on their heart with caring volunteers who won’t judge or give advice, but offer prayers and a listening ear.

Circuit Plan

The plan of services at our church for the next 3 months is in the circuit plan here: http://swworcsmethodist.org.uk/circuit-calendar/

Services

Morning Worship

The First, Third and Fifth Sundays of Each Month
10:30

For these services, the worship is led by a preacher or minister and usually includes a sermon on talk as well as prayers, singing, and readings from the Bible.

All-age Worship

The First Sunday of Each Month
10:30

All ages worship together. The service is led by a preacher or minister and the worship band and members of the congregation often take part through drama, prayer, music and other activities.

Cafe Worship

The Fourth Sunday of Each Month
10:30

We sit around tables, and worship is led by a preacher or minister and the worship band. The worship is more informal and includes singing, prayers, Bible reading and discussion in small groups to respond to a Bible passage or question about faith and discipleship. This is suitable for all ages, and coffee is served during the service.

Holy Communion

The First and Third Sunday of Each Month

On the first Sunday of the month at 10.30am and on the 3rd Sunday at 9.00am, we usually celebrate Holy Communion. Everyone is welcome to receive the bread and the wine, which is non-alcoholic. After the 9.00am Communion service, there is an option to stay for breakfast in the hall.
